How is the official-source citation rate calculated?

Divide answers citing at least one official URL by valid answers with complete citation lists, then multiply by 100.

Method and interpretation

GEO citation analysis uses source URLs shown in public answers. Verify official domains, deduplicate each URL within an answer and then calculate rates. A displayed citation does not prove the model’s internal retrieval path or training-data usage.

Practical example

Illustration: 4 answers citing an official URL out of 40 answers with complete citation lists gives a 10% official citation rate. An answer citing two official pages still counts once in the overall numerator.
